Directions and Parking


By Car

From the Pomona (60) Freeway

Exit Atlantic Boulevard, head north two blocks on Atlantic. Turn left onto Avenida Cesar Chavez. The college is one block down on the right hand side. You will see VPAM is located directly on the corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and Collegian Avenue. Turn right on Collegian Avenue. Continue to end of the block to Parking Structure. Enter Structure on your left. Continue to rooftop level of Parking Structure. Park on roof. A $2 permit (exact cash) is required. Place permit on dashboard.

From the San Bernardino (10) Freeway

Exit Atlantic Boulevard South. Travel approximately three miles south on Atlantic. Turn right onto Avenida Cesar Chavez. The college is one block down on the right hand side. You will see VPAM is located directly on the corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and Collegian Avenue. Turn right on Collegian Avenue. Continue to end of the block to Parking Structure. Enter Structure on your left. Continue to rooftop level of Parking Structure. Park on roof. A $2 permit (exact cash) is required. Place permit on dashboard.

From the Pasadena/Long Beach (710) Freeway

Transfer to the Pomona (60) East. Exit Atlantic Boulevard, heading north. Turn left onto Avenida Cesar Chavez. The college is one block down on the right hand side. You will see VPAM is located directly on the corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and Collegian Avenue. Turn right on Collegian Avenue. Continue to end of the block to Parking Structure. Enter Structure on your left. Continue to rooftop level of Parking Structure. Park on roof. A $2 permit (exact cash) is required. Place permit on dashboard.

Parking

There are two parking lots on the campus where visitors can park. Both lots require the purchase and display of a $2 permit (exact change is required). Permits can be purchased on the TOP floor of each parking lot. Visitors must park on the TOP floors.

Parking Lot 3: Located on Avenida Cesar Chavez, enter at Schoolside Avenue; 8 to 10 minute walk to museum.
Parking Lot 4: Located at corner of Collegian Avenue and Floral Drive; 5 minute walk to museum.

By Public Transportation

By Bus

Starting from Downtown Los Angeles Union Station, take either Metro #68 or #770 (rapid) heading east. Both lines stop near the campus on Avenida Cesar Chavez. VPAM is located on the southeast corner of the campus at Avenida Cesar Chavez and Collegian Avenue. Starting from Whittier, take Montebello line #10 to last stop on Atlantic. From Pasadena, take Metro #260 or #762 (rapid) to Atlantic-Avenida Cesar Chavez.

Travel to last stop heading toward East Los Angeles. Exit at last stop Atlantic Boulevard. Either head north by foot for ¼ mile to Avenida Cesar Chavez and turn left, or take bus line Metro #260 or #762 (rapid) or Montebello line #10 north. Exit at Riggin-Avenida Cesar Chavez.
