Learn about technology-focused exhibition installation with guest speaker Mark Ayala, Technical Specialist at the Hammer Museum, as he shares about his role and trajectory into the museum field. He will lead a live demonstration and guide attendees through a hands-on activity for a rare opportunity to work with a 16mm film projector.

About the Event Series
The Vincent Price Art Museum (VPAM) proudly presents Museum Studies Meetups, a monthly meetup series dedicated to connecting current and prospective students enrolled in the Museum Studies Certificate Program (MSCP) at East Los Angeles College (ELAC) to current and relevant topics in the museum field.
Museum Studies Meetups are organized by the Vincent Price Art Museum in collaboration with the Art Department and Museum Studies Certificate Program at East Los Angeles College.
