DJ Flashback George (George Aguilar) is a fourth-generation Mexican-American born in East LA and raised in Monterey Park. He now resides in Montebello along with his wife and youngest son. After serving four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, he began to DJ publicly. He collects 45s, rock-n-roll, surf, rhythm and blues, Latin rock from the 1950s and 1960s, 12” new wave, and disco. He is a resident DJ at Viva Las Vegas & the Rhythm Collision festivals. He organizes, hosts and DJs at BackToDisco events and is the owner of the online record store, Flashback Records.
