Panel Discussion
Join us for a conversation about ‘Round the Clock: Chinese American Artists Working in Los Angeles with Suellen Cheng, former executive director and founding chief curator of the Chinese American Museum; Ron Miller, former president and historian of the National Watercolor Society; Charles Solomon, animation historian and critic; and artist Milton Quon. Panelists will discuss the lives and work of the five artists in the exhibition, as well as the historical context in which their lives unfolded. The panel will offer a closer look at the industries in which these artists worked and the multiple communities of which they were a part. Moderated by guest curator Sonia Mak.
